Okatse Canyon is situated in the gorge of the Okatse River. The river is 14 kilometers and the width of the canyon 3-6 meters in some places, some 15-20 meters, a depth of 20 to 100 meters. Canyon decorated with a cascading waterfalls. The length of one of the lake “Oskhapo” is 60meters. Several natural stone bridge are built over River Okatse, one of them is "Boga".Canyon has caves from which karst springs flow.

On the calcareous bank quite large box-trees are growing. The gorge sides are covered with shrubs. Helical path runs from the village to the east, toward the bottom. The width of canyon and stone bridge are not more than 4meters here, while the depth is of 50 meters.

Okatse Canyon occupies more than 2 kilometers , it has not been surveyed yet. Down the Boga the depth of Canyon increases and is 100 meters, as the bottom of the old Gorge is inclined backward in some places. Here geologists discovered and mapped tectonic thrust faulting, earth's crust gap. It crosses the lower streams. The lower part of Gorge is raised with few tens of meters in the middle section.
